Jaslok Hospital Is the First To use MRgFUS To Treat Uterine Fibroid

Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai, India, announced that it is proving new treatment for uterine fibroids, a frequently seen gynecological disorder. The new treatment is carried out by using GE Magnetic Resonance-guided Focused Ultrasound surgery (MRgFUS). The new technique uses high intensity ultrasound waves to kill the benign tumors of the uterus in a non invasive way.
