City Hospital In Birmingham Upgrades Its MRI Systems With Siemens's MAGNETOM Avanto

City Hospital in Birmingham has extended its range of imaging services and now offers faster and more streamlined MRI examinations following the installation of a MAGNETOM® Avanto 1.5 Tesla system from Siemens Healthcare.  The hospital, part of Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust, upgraded its previous Siemens system to provide a refreshed, state-of-the-art service.

Siemens Healthcare Installs ACUSON X300 At Royal Albert Edward Infirmary

Royal Albert Edward Infirmary, part of Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust, will performsiemens portable echocardiograms, abdominal, and chest ultrasound examinations, in its Intensive Care Unit (ICU), after the installation of an ACUSON X300 Premium Edition from Siemens Healthcare. ACUSON X300 PE will be placed in the hospital's Intensive Care Unit. In addition to to the mentioned ultrasound procedures, ACUSON X300 PE will be also used for line placement in vascular procedures.
