Performed CT And MRI Scans In US During 2010, Reduced

According to reports from several diagnostic imaging facilities, the number of CT and MRI scans performed in the Unitedct_scan_device States in 2010 is same or even less than the number of scans conducted in 2009. Tom Cabot, vice president of Arlington Medical Resources, a medical-data company, mentioned that the numbers of CT and MRI scans performed in 2009 throughout the US are declining in 2010.

Australian Opposition To Provide A PET Scanner For Darwin Oncology Unit

ASTRO Releases New Guidelines For WBI

New guidelines for proper fractionation of whole breast irradiation (WBI) were released recently by The American SocietyAstro for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO).  The society noted that (HF) WBI is considered effective for a lot of patients with early stages of breast cancer. The guidelines are highlighted in the official journal of ASTRO, the International Journal of Radiation Oncology Biology Physics.
