Group (STRG) announced the launch of Intrinsic Imaging LLC. The later is an advanced diagnostic imaging contract research organization, which aims to provide diagnostic imaging services during clinical trials. Intrinsic Imaging LLC is located in San Antonio, Texas, and is going to offer its services to a wide range of pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device producing companies.

Davis Regional Medical Center announced that is has recently upgraded its imaging center, in order to provide Davis

improved services to the patients. The imaging center now is able to use quicker and less invasive procedures. Davis Regional Medical Center has acquired a new 64 Computed tomography (CT) device for its imaging center. Andy Davis, the Hospital CEO, said "The images from the CT are absolutely fantastic," he added "It's just a great enhancement."

Realizing the significant importance of reducing radiation doses delivered to children, The University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, Ann Arbor, Michigan, announced that it has implemented a new Shimadzu MobileDaRt Evolution with CXDI-60 C. The new system represents a mobile X-ray system that provides verification of diagnostic images three seconds after they are generated.

Siemens Healthcare, a major company providing diagnostic imaging systems, SIEMENS

announced that it has launched a new upgrade to its ACUSON SC2000 volume imaging ultrasound system. The new update is mainly addressing cardiology practice. The new update, version 1.5, is featuring a number of workflow solutions. Among such solutions, the eSie Measure Workflow Acceleration package is applied to provide full automatic measurement for routine echo exams.
