According to a recent study, PET/CT scans can be used for the most accurate, efficient and effective detection of breast cancer metastasis to bone. The study was conducted by researchers from the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Breast cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer in women.
