Limited Number Of Cancer Patients In UK Receive Newer Radiotherapy Services
According to recent reports, a limited number of cancer patients in the United Kingdom (UK) have access to newer radiotherapy services. Experts from Cancer Research UK (CRUK) mentioned that only 7% of cancer patients are having access to newer types of radiotherapy devices, while the percent of such patients in Europe is about 20%. CRUK experts added that patients are having radiotherapy from older types of machines, while other patients travel outside the UK to have treatment from newer machines.
