The software, which will be provided on touch screen tablets, is developed to be used by the ships’ captains in cases such as a crew sickness or emergencies when the ship is located many miles off shore with inaccessible medical facilities and unavailable communications. Intresco has its own healthcare professionals, who will receive calls if a medical emergency happens..
