More Hospitals In Remote Areas Are Using Teleradiology

In order to cope with shortage of radiologists, a number of small hospitals in the Central San Joaquin Valley are starting to deal with companies that provide remote teleradiology services. It is a fact that several hospitals are cooperating with radiologists in other regions to interpret medical images electronically, especially on night hours and weekends, instead of hiring radiologists on-site. Yet, more hospitals are now using remote radiology services during weekdays.
