Hampton Roads is going to make use of a new low-dose CT imaging system. The new 64-slice CT unit is supported with advanced software that helps technicians in reducing radiation exposure by almost 40%, with enhanced image clarity. The first hospital to use the new CT system in the area is Bon Secours DePaul in Norfolk. The new unit costs $1.2 million.
