Attending Workshops Reduces Radiation Doses During MDCT

According to a new study, radiologists and medical imaging technologists who attended one day dose optimization workshop were able to significantly reduce radiation doses accompanied with multi-detector computed tomography (MDCT) scans. These workshops are organized and conducted by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR). The study was published in the August issue of the Journal of the American College of Radiology.
