The Royal Marsden Hospital Implements CARESTREAM RIS

The Royal Marsden Hospital (RMH) NHS Foundation Trust announced that it has signed a new contract with Carestream Health to implement its latest version of CARESTREAM RIS. The implementation will take place in two Royal Marsden’s sites in, Chelsea and Sutton, both located in London. According to the signed contract, the implementation will take place during the second half of 2010. RMH was the first hospital in the world to be built specially for cancer treatment and researches. Currently, The Royal Marsden Hospital and its partner, The Institute of Cancer Research, are representing the largest cancer center in Europe. The center provides services for more than 40,000 patients from the UK and other countries each year.
