NHS Highland Revises X-ray Scans For Errors

The X-ray scans of nearly 800 patients are currently under revision following finding mistakes in two cases. NHS Highland ordered the revision after highlighting problems in two chest X-ray scans carried out at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness, Scotland. Professor Chris Isles, Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary, expressed concerns about the qualifications of the staff sent to work in hospitals. He added that the information about their experience is not always accurate. Moreover, the British Medical Association warned that the current revision of the clinical skills of foreign doctors, when they come to work in NHS facilities, is not enough.
