High Radiation Doses Can Improve Brain Cancer Survival

According to a recent study, using high radiation doses while targeting the stem cell niche in the brain can improve survival rate for glioblastomas (a type of brain cancer) patients by almost the double. The study was published in the online edition of the journal BMC Cancer.
