GE Healthcare Opens Its First Factory In Brazil

GE Healthcare, a global leading company providing diagnostic imaging and healthcare IT solution, announced that it has GEopened its first factory in Brazil, also the first in South America, in order to provide the Brazilian population with more affordable healthcare technologies, in addition to establishing a exportation center in South America. The factory is located in the Brazilian city of Contagem. It involved planned investments of $50 million during a ten-year period.
