A New Method To Calculate High Radiation Doses During Radiotherapy
In a recent study, researchers from the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC-
James) have designed a new mathematical model to determine radiation doses delivered during several conditions such as treating cancer patients. The study is highlighted in the journal Science Translational Medicine.

High Radiation Doses Can Improve Brain Cancer Survival
According to a recent study, using high radiation doses while targeting the stem cell niche in the brain can improve
survival rate for glioblastomas (a type of brain cancer) patients by almost the double. The study was published in the online edition of the journal BMC Cancer.
