Royal Philips Electronics, a major company providing medical imaging and healthcare IT solutions, announced that it is going to purchase CDP Medical, an Israel-based company offering picture archiving and communications (PACS) solutions. CPD is a branch of Medtechnica, a provider of medical device systems.
