ASTRO Releases New Guidelines For WBI

New guidelines for proper fractionation of whole breast irradiation (WBI) were released recently by The American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO).  The society noted that (HF) WBI is considered effective for a lot of patients with early stages of breast cancer. The guidelines are highlighted in the official journal of ASTRO, the International Journal of Radiation Oncology Biology Physics.
