ASIR Offers New Options For Colonography

According to a new study, using adaptive statistical iterative reconstruction (ASIR), a new low dose CT procedure, offers assistance to radiologists in decreasing the currently reduced radiation dose delivered while conducting CT colonography (CTC) by about additional 50%. The study was published in the July issue of the American Journal of Roentgenology.
